Ever wonder what happens to the plastic mulch used in farming?
At AgTech Recycling, we give that plastic a second life! Our free coloring book helps kids (and grown-ups!) learn how farm plastic goes from the field… all the way to becoming something new.
With school getting out soon, we thought parents and caregivers might appreciate a fun, educational activity to keep kids engaged — and this one teaches real-world sustainability in a hands-on, creative way. Here’s how it works:
🧑🌾 Page 1: Plastic in the Field
Farmers lay down long sheets of plastic mulch to help crops grow by keeping weeds out and moisture in. It’s a common and important part of modern agriculture.

🚜 Page 2: Collecting Used Plastic
Once the growing season is over, the used plastic is removed from the fields. This plastic can't be reused on the farm, but that doesn't mean it’s trash!

🚛 Page 3: Transport to AgTech
The collected plastic is loaded onto trucks and brought to our AgTech Recycling facility, where it begins its new journey.

🧤 Page 4: Sorting the Plastic
Our team carefully sorts the plastic to remove any debris or non-recyclable materials. Clean plastic is essential for making quality recycled products.

🌀 Page 5: Shredding Time!
The clean plastic goes into a shredder, where it’s chopped into small pieces — kind of like recycling confetti!

🔥 Page 6: Melting and Pelletizing
The shredded plastic is melted down and formed into tiny resin pellets. These are the raw building blocks used to make new plastic products.

🌼 Page 7: New Life!
Those resin pellets can now be used to make new things — like durable flower pots, piping, or other useful items. It’s plastic, reborn!

🎨 Page 9: Color the Logo
The final page lets kids add their own creativity to our AgTech Recycling logo — because they’re part of the recycling story, too!
